Morgan Wallen is bringing his very own music festival to the beaches of Gulf Shores, Alabama, in 2025. The 15-time Billboard Music Award winner will launch the Sand in My Boots Festival, a three-day event scheduled for May 16-18, 2025. Partnering with AEG Presents (the producers behind Stagecoach and Hangout Music Festival), Wallen’s festival will take place at the same iconic site that hosts the annual Hangout Festival.

Stacy Vee, Executive VP of Goldenvoice and producer of Stagecoach, expressed her excitement about working with Wallen, stating, "Creating a festival with Morgan has been a dream come true … and some of the most fun I have ever had booking a show! I can’t wait for fans to come and experience one of the most eclectic and electric lineups and on-site experiences the world has ever seen."

Festival Lineup and Multi-Genre Experience

While the full talent lineup and ticketing details for Sand in My Boots will be revealed in the coming weeks, fans can expect a multi-genre lineup featuring some of Wallen's closest friends, favorite artists, and musicians he's long admired. The festival takes its name from Wallen’s 2022 No. 1 Billboard Country Airplay hit “Sand in My Boots.”

Reeves Price, Hangout Festival Producer and AEG Presents collaborator, said, "The opportunity to bring Morgan’s world to life on the beach in Gulf Shores is something very special. The fact that it coincides with the 15th anniversary of the Hangout Festival only makes it more special. We can’t wait to see everyone back on the beach in May."

Expanding His Festival Ventures

The Sand in My Boots Festival is not Wallen’s first foray into music festivals. Earlier this year, he teamed up with Eric Church to launch the Field & Stream Music Festival, scheduled to take place in Winnsboro, South Carolina, from October 4-6, 2024. The lineup for the event was set to feature Eric Church, Lainey Wilson, and ZZ Top. However, the festival was postponed due to the impact of Hurricane Helene.

The Field & Stream Music Festival is part of Wallen and Church’s broader involvement with the Field & Stream brand, which they acquired earlier this year as part of their efforts to merge music and the outdoor lifestyle culture.

As Wallen continues to expand his influence both musically and in the festival scene, the Sand in My Boots Festival promises to be an exciting event for fans across genres.
